My article is about a man who got arrested for being in a connection with shooting near Oregon High School. I found this interesting article from www.cnn.com. I chose this article because I want to hear more about news that has to do with shootings. I feel like people shoot for the wrong reasons at the wrong people. Also I always like to see where is it taking place. And afterwards I want to know did anyone got hurt or killed that was just an innocent person.
I find this article as an reputable source for many reasons. It is to me because you can tell what type of content it is. Also you can tell where was your evidence in this article and your completeness. This is a reputable source that a lot of people go to on the internet to find out the news. And to find out more about what's happening around their surroundings.
By reading this article, you obviously know that this content is a news story. You know where it is and you know that its something that is important that everyone should know about this. This article talks about when the person got arrested, and when people got hurt. They also have evidence in this article. They not only just write about it, the new reporters had a video about this also. So to me CNN is one of the best reputable sources to go to, to hear about what's happening in the world.

A 12 Year old boy shot
There was a boy who was only twelve years of age who got shot in a park by a police. You can find out about this news anywhere, but I found out about this on Facebook. But I started reading about it on a website that is called Shocking Times. This twelve year old boy was supposedly taking out a bb gun out and pointing it to people who were passing by him. Someone called the police and told them that the little boy had a fake or real gun. And when the police came, the little boy grabbed the gun and pretended to shoot but the police shot the little boy. Then they soon found out that it was a bb gun that the little boy had.
In my own opinion, I believe that the young boy and the police were both wrong. The little boy shouldn't have pulled it out and pointed at people. He shouldn't have had it outside. But mainly when he saw the police, he shouldn't had pulled it out. He should of had his hands up and wait for the police to come towards him then tell them that it is a fake gun. But it is also the police officers fault too. They should of took out a taser on him instead of shootinghim. Or at least talk him down to push the gun away and then see if it was real or not. That way no one would have died and everyone could feel safe again. But also no one seem to realize that it was also the young boy's guardians fault too. If they checked to see if he had anything on him or see if he was going to take anything outside then they wouldn't be feeling sad.
I learned something new for sure ever since I read this article. I learned that if I have children, to always check to see if they are bringing anything outside. Also if there was a bbgun in my house to keep it away from them. I do feel more informed about my area, nation. And I feel more better because I know that the police ain't helping as much to keep a place safe. But also I see that people need to better tthemselves in order for stuff like this wouldn't have to happen again.

Current Event #6
In this little news I read was not shocking, which is the sad part. This is something bad to read and hear about. This had read little news with the little information it gave me about a man who raped a child on Saturday, October 26, 2014. This talks about it on the website, the Worcester News Telegram. And I would just like to say that I feel sad for the little child. But am so mad and disappointed in the man.
In my opinion, I believe that this rape stuff needs to seriously stop. This just makes it worst for the parents. Because once their child is a teenager, they are going to be extra protective. And the teens are going to hate having their parents up on their butts which gets them into more trouble because they would do something so dumb like walk somewhere in the dark alone and get lost and then the rape could happen. Or worst, just get possibly killed at the wrong place at the wrong time. And this situation would be even more sick if this was a younger child. This man and other rapists out in the world are so disgusting. I don't like them because they don't ever think that that's a little child. Or that, that's someone's child. They need to be in jail and then they can have all the "fun" they can have with a person who wants to have fun too.
This little news didn't really teach me anything besides to watch out. And make sure you are always prepared for the worst things that could happen when you're alone. Also to watch out and call your children. Because this can happen to anyone. So always make sure that you call your child or children once in a while every day to make sure that they are safe. Also make sure you know exactly what your child wore and her or his hairstyle looks like. That way when this happen or something else happens to them, you know what to tell the police what they look like.
I don't really feel informed by my state by reading this. The only reason why is cause this has happened a lot. It's sad to hear but it's nothing really new. Something new would be like if he raped her and then chopped her to pieces. But knowing that this ain't nothing new is saddest part. Current Event #5
This article about a house being firebombed in Detroit is really sad and interesting at the same time. In the website www.cnn.com it states that a Suburban Detroit family was in the house when their house started to get firebombed. But luckily the wife, husband, and their children got out the house. And good thing that everyone is okay. I just wonder if the firebomber ever got caught and got arrested after this. And I wonder if the family ever got to go to a better place to live at, since their house got burned.
My opinion to all of this was that the firebomber never had the right to do that. No one should ever do that, not even to their worst enemy because they don't realize what they are showing to the younger generation. The younger generation is looking up to us, the teenagers, and the elderly generation and what ever they see us do, they are going to think it is okay to do it. And this would only make the world worst for us as time goes on. I also feel that the police need to be better at coming at the right time. Also they should catch people faster because they should already know who the person is and could easily have found him or her because they have the cameras to show the firebomber.
I don't disagree nor agree of what has been said in this article. I don't disagree with it because what if this is true ? People are trying to kill other people now and days and everybody has bad people in each place, so I can see that this stuff is true. Plus the lady, Linda Bazzi, stated that "This, to me was, a nice community, nice area, and there have been a lot of thefts in the neighborhood and there have been a lot of break-ins. This is where I draw the line." Although I wouldn't agree with this article as well. I wouldn't agree with the article because again you never know if this is true. Plus people will try to over exaggerate with things like this because people want to talk on television and get that 15 seconds of fame.
This somewhat makes me more informed with my country. This makes me feel informed because this is telling me how there are people who can secretly hate you and want to kill you and have the actual set of mind to kill you and your family. Again like my other current events, you got to watch out for the people who are like that because you never know that you can be next on their kill list. Plus they have no type of heart for you at all if they kill you but also kill the people you love.

Current Event #4
The event that I saw and wrote about was about a man being killed in a horrible hit-and-run crash in Belmont. My source of getting this was on the internet at the WCVB 5 website. And I am writing about this because there are people who die over other people's problems and mistakes. And this horrible violence in the streets, in our homes, and in the world should just completly stop.
In my big opinion, I 100% think that this is so sad. No one should ever have to lose a life, family memeber, or friend because someone had anger in them and thought it could of been cool to kill someone. Even though it doesn't say why Carl Yancey got killed, it still doesn't give that man the right to kill anyone. This is happening to people everywhere and it isn't right. And I hope the people who killed other people, just like how the person who killed Carl Yancey, get caught and get put in jail. Not just for the justice and put the bad person away, but that way the person sees who is effected by this in court. And also to sit in jail in their cell and think about what they did. And just hopefully they can feel guilty of what they have done.
This article taught me that even though you may not like someone a lot, you shouldn't take someone's life away. And this article proves that the devil, or the bad concience, can really get to the person's mind and make them do some horrible and terrifying things. If anyone has a problem with someone, I feel that you shouldn't kill someone but just talk things out with someone. Only because if you talk it out, you won't be the bad person and go thru some bad things like going to jail. Instead you would be the one still living your life, just taking a negitive person out of your life. And they would be the ones who are feeling sad, not you. And then they wouldn't be people in jail and there wouldn't be any killing people. And every single person could live their life.
By reading this article I don't really feel informed. The reason why is because I feel as if this happens a lot so this isn't a shocker as much. But I do still feel sad for the family and friends or those who were close to Carl Yancey. But that is the sad thing, this should be a shocker not a normal. We have to decrease the number of killings in this world.

In my opinion, I thought the previous yearbooks where pretty okay. I feel as so that they had a great cover design still relating to the school and simple. But the thing that I didn't like about the yearbooks was that it kind of needs to be a little more creative and original. But otherwise its pretty good.

Current Event Article
In this article, I found out some real interesting things that are shocking and sad. I saw on the website, ABC 7 Chicago, that four children got killed in a fire. And two adults were just hurt and got put into the hospital. And may I say, that in this website im sad for the lost of the children but I am disappointed at the two adults who were hospitalized. And I was proud of the lady who called for help.
In my strong opinion, I think that the two adults who jumped off the third floor of the building were kind of focusing on themselves. Instead of the four children who were in need of help. I feel that way because one of them could have called for help, while the other person could have tried their hardest to save the children. Also I feel that the lady who called for help is a good hero. Not a lot of people like to help others when they are in need. Some people today could have saw that and walked away like as if nothing is happening. And I feel bad that the family and friends who knew these four children, now have to live with this tragedy.
This article taught me that anything could happen to you at any moment, even if its death. You got to be able to be ready at all times for anything. I believe that no one should ignore the news because you never know if it could be your family member or friend who got hurt. And I feel like in school we should watch the news for thirty minutes, to show that there are more and bigger problems that are happening around the world. Other than a bad break up or fights in school. Or other than people having a competition to see who has the best shoes. People need to know what happens in the world. Not just in our town or state too, but in other states as well.
By reading this interesting article, I definitely feel more informed about what is going on in the nation. And I don't want just myself to feel more informed, I want everyone also. Because even though its not a family member or friend of ours, its someone else's. And they feel really sad and hurt. Andi feel like everyone should be there for each other.
